Stop Chasing Pain Podcast
ByLast night I hooked up with Perry Nickelston, DC, SFMA from Stop Chasing Pain. Perry tracked me down and interviewed me on a subject close to my heart, how to train like an athlete.
If you’re not familiar with my thoughts on this subject the podcast will give you an insight into my techniques for training the general population with fitness programs of elite athletes. We had some great conversation about training, programme design as well as a quick overview of the Performance Mentorship Programme. Time to show the Americans how we do things in the UK!
Check out the podcast here, there’s also a bunch of other great podcasts to listen to (just in case you get bored listening to me!) >>

Great interview, Well Done. Had a laugh at the bit about thinking you’ve had a new thought or idea only to read a book with the same idea!! Sounds familiar! Keep up your good work

Great interview Nick, there are far too many trainers/coaches who thrive off DOMS and floggings.

Paul, everything new is old! I thought that when I told my wife “you complete me” that I had thought up the line – then I watched Jerry McGuire where I realised Tom bloody Cruise had stolen my line!

Yep – making people work is easy, it doesn’t take much skill! Every now and then there is need for a good old fashioned beasting but it must fit into the plan – always train with a purpose.
