Want to fix your clients injuries?

By

As a fitness coach (S&C coach, personal trainer, sports coach), there are times when you need to be able to keep your clients and athletes in a training routine even if they are injured. Whilst the ideal sitaution is to work with a physio, there are times when you are on your own and you still need to get the job done.

This is where the REHAB TRAINER course fits in. In November (10th,11th and 17th and 18th) I’m hosting the Rehab Trainer course here in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This is a short course designed specifically to give coaches unique new knowledge and skills which are guaranteed to boost their ability and confidence to meet an injured client’s needs.

Now this course usually runs in Australia, but on this very special occasion the brains behind Rehab Trainer (Ulrik Larsen and Chris Mallac) are bringing the course to the UK. You can do the maths…round trip air fare to Australia to attend the course or a trip up the M1 to Newcastle…and we have a decent bridge here which looks a bit like the one in Sydney!). This is a rare opportunity!

An intensely practical and cutting edge 4-day course, Rehab Trainer was written by highly experienced Australian Sports Physiotherapist Ulrik Larsen, who brings with him 17 years of injury management at elite and social sports levels. You will learn how to become an active force in rehabilitating your injured clients through their low-risk injury and back to full fitness.

You may be wondering if this course is for you. If any of this applies to you then you need to be booking yourself on the course: You should do REHAB TRAINER if…

1. You currently have injured clients and don’t know what rehab you can implement.

2. You would like a more in-depth understanding of bio-mechanics and how it relates to gym-based injuries.

3. You would like to expand your referral base.

4. You would like increased success in training your clients with knee pain, low back pain or shoulder pain.

Here’s what you will experience on the course:

1. Interactive DVD functional anatomy

2. Innovative & unique rehab-training methods

3. SLOW-MO video analysis

4. How to effectively use your new Rehab Toolbox

5. Extensive practical sessions in the gym based around the unique "R…E…H…A…B" protocol, which allows you as a coach to blend the new knowledge and skills into your existing training sessions with clients.

I know this is going to be a great course and I’m looking forward to working with Chris when he is here in the UK. I’m also looking forward to spending time with a group of professional that recognise the importance of being able to manage their clients injury problems.

You can book online for the Newcastle Course at www.rehabtrainer.com.au  and take some time to look through the full course details.

SEE YOU IN NEWCASTLE!

Hi Nick, just wondering if this course will be taught this year. I'm only after seeing it on the website now and had not heard of it before. I am a Physical Therapist and would be interested in attending. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Noel.

Hi Noel, there are no plans to run another Rehab Trainer programme. It’s probably worth checking their website out http://www.rehabtrainer.com.au/
