I remember the first time I ever saw Usain Bolt dip for the line and it was probably the first time he had ever felt the need to dip for the line.
Why did he dip?
The competition had hotted-up and he needed to make sure he crossed the line first.
The coach that gets noticed is the coach that leans into the problem the hardest. If you lean in, if you put yourself out, if you commit to becoming a great coach, if you dip for the line, you'll have a better chance of winning.
If you sit back and wait for a job to advertised, wait for positions to become available, wait for an internship to fall into your lap, you're in a photo finish.
The coach that gets ahead, dips for the line.
