Getting The Right Mix

High-performing teams aren't built on one standout ingredient. They're built on the right mix. 

Too often we chase a "tequila shot" - that one superstar, one department, one idea that's meant to fix everything. It rarely works. 

Performance is more nuanced than that. 

Great teams look more like cocktails: 

A strong base (clear philosophy)

A modifying agent (specialists who add value)

A unique flavour (culture and connection)

If you get the blend right, the outcome is repeatable. 

If you rely on one ingredient, you're fragile.

The question isn't who is the best? 

It's how well do they combine?
